The gift that keeps on giving

It's been too long since I've written a blog post, but I believe that I have a special one today. As we quickly approach the Holiday and gift-giving season, my wife and I have already had the discussion about how our gift budget will be spent.

This morning I stumbled upon a thumb drive with photos from one of our first major vacations, at the time Jennifer was an Agullard, but my goal was to propose to her, making it whay should have been the Oster's first vacation.

Things didn't go that way. Thanks to my wife's very small ring size, and my desire to get her the perfect engagement ring, the production of her engagement ring was delayed, and I wasn't able to propose to her until January 13, 2012. For a long time I had lamented the fact that I lost out on the perfect opportunity to propose at one of the most beautiful national parks on the planet, that was until four years later, January 13, 2016, when our daughter was born several weeks early.

Now here we are, November 13, 2016, and I've stumbled upon the photos of the travel that ultimately started it all.

No you're Shagadellic baby!

As an almost-40 year old professional, there's almost nothing in the world that I want or need that I can't buy, finance., or save up to purchase. One thing I can't buy are missed opportunities of good times spent with my loved ones. Looking through these photos today reminded me not only about how great of a trip this was, but what I love most about my wife and our family. It makes me long for the times we've had and look forward to the times still to come.

This is why I got into travel as a business, to help my clients make similar connections and memories. To me, travel is the best gift that you can give, and is better than anything that I could ever wrap up and put into a box.

Have you ever stayed in an underground hotel?

Nothing sparks more joy than hearing back from a client and knowing that they had a great time. I'd love to help you and your family create similar memories. Visit me on Facebook or call me directly and let's get your next great adventure started today.

Until then, enjoy some of my favorites from one of my first.
