Changes to Disney's Genie + service beginning today.

What is Disney changing about the Genie+ service?

Earlier this year when Disney Parks and Resorts removed the option to pre-purchase the popular Genie+ service from their booking engine, it was rumored that Disney would begin implementing a demand-based pricing model. As of October 11, 2022 that seems to be the case.

Pricing for Genie+ at the Walt Disney World resort will now start at $15 per day on less-busy days, but may see prices of $22 or more depending on demand. Guests visiting Disneyland Resort will still have the option to prepurchase their Genie+ service for $25 per person per day, but may see higher prices if purchased same-day at the park. The Disneyland version of the app includes your photo pass, and will now also include Spider-Man WEB Slingers.
